This new packaging medium offers a cutting-edge sustainable packaging solution that utilizes renewable paper sources and reduces the use of plastic by over 80%. In this process, the product is vacuumed onto the flat surfaces which allows for exciting shelf appeal enhancement printing on both sides of the package.
Protrusion VSP
Go Polypro trays are used when the height of the product exceeds the depth of the tray in which it is packaged. This is an attractive sealing method for seafood, ready meals and other proteins. Meat and meat products continue their maturation process for enhanced tenderness, texture, and optimum taste due to the VSP process. Once opened the product is immediately exposed to oxygen and will only take a few minutes to bloom to its natural bright color, without altering taste and freshness. High safety standards and enhanced hygiene and preservation are a huge benefit of VSP reducing product shrink and food waste.
Standard VSP Packaging
Vacuum Skin Packaging vacuums the product to a tray and fits around it like a second skin. The optional easy-peel packaging materials result in increased ease of opening for the consumer. Easy Peel film also has a self-venting feature for microwave heating which perfectly steams the product with an easy-peel and discard film experience.
