Sustainable Packaging Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Last Reviewed: May 15, 2025

Go Green Packaging designs packaging solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, while minimizing environmental impact across the entire product lifecycle.

Our Approach to Sustainable Packaging

1.Design for Circularity

a. Our trays are designed to be either curbside recyclable, commercially compostable, or plastic-free. We eliminate unnecessary complexity in packaging materials to enable recovery and reuse.

2.Eliminating Problematic Plastics

a. We actively support customers in moving away from difficult-to-recycle plastics such as EPS and CPET, and do not use materials containing intentionally added PFAS.

3.Shelf-Life and Waste Reduction

a. We believe that the right packaging can reduce food waste — even a one-day shelf-life extension can have a meaningful impact on emissions and shrink. Our formats are designed for both sustainability and shelf performance.

4.Material Efficiency

a. We engineer our trays for maximum efficiency, reducing material use without compromising structural integrity. Our proprietary forming processes minimize waste in manufacturing.

5.Compliance and Retail Readiness

a. All Go Green products are designed to align with leading retail sustainability frameworks, including How2Recycle® labeling guidance and emerging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations.

6.Customer Partnership

a.We work closely with our customers to help them meet their ESG goals — providing support with material transition, compliance reporting, and packaging innovation.
